Former Assistant Will County State’s Attorney, First Assistant Corporation Counsel for Joliet, Illinois; Clerk of the United States District Court (1976).He is married to Peggy and has three daughters and numerous Irish grandchildren. Tom is an avid bicyclist and golfer ( a much better bicyclist) and a wine and beer (usually GUINNESS) connoisseur.

His previous county and municipal work prepared him for his specialties in land use and transactional law. Tom is experienced in legal matters concerning the development of commercial, industrial and residential projects. His clients include some of the largest property investors and developers in Will County.

Tom is also experienced in municipal pension work representing numerous Will County pension funds.

He has a keen interest in his community and is involved in civic, school and church organizations.

Tom is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SCHENK LAW FIRM.
